Project Case Study

Intercity Solar Street Lighting in Chile

Solar street lighting for intercity roads in Chile, with roadside poles, dry foothills and sparse vegetation along routes connecting nearby towns.

Project Brief

This intercity solar street lighting proposal in Chile specifies 548 sets of DEL-DN10-120 All-in-One Solar Street Lights for a regional road linking neighboring towns. Reference photographs show a route through dry foothills, sparse shrubs, open verges and distant settlements. Integrated solar luminaires line both sides of the roadway. The planned layout uses 8 m poles at 32 m intervals across a 7 m road width, with warm 3000K lighting intended to support nighttime travel along open rural sections.

The DEL-DN10-120 All-in-One Solar Street Light is specified for this intercity road lighting proposal in Chile. Its integrated solar panel, LED luminaire and battery offer a compact roadside installation for exposed routes with limited nearby infrastructure. The 120 W LED is paired with a 150 Wp monocrystalline panel, 1152 Wh LiFePO4 battery and MPPT controller. A proposed timed dimming schedule requires site-specific energy and photometric verification.
