Project Consultation

The first conversation, before any quote. We assess the road class, the environment and the budget, then tell you which system actually fits — even when that means recommending less than you asked for.

NO

Obligation

An honest read on the project, before money is on the table.

Most lighting goes wrong at the very beginning — the wrong road class assumed, the wrong product specified, a budget set before anyone looked at the site. A consultation fixes that. We sit with your requirements, your site data and your constraints, and map them to what the road actually needs.

You leave with a clear picture: the road class, a realistic budget band, the right family of products and the risks worth planning for. No pressure to buy, and no quote until you ask for one.

Who this is for
1

Municipalities scoping a lighting programme but unsure of the road class or budget.

2

EPC contractors pricing a bid who need a fast, credible technical read.

3

Developers and estates planning private roads, campuses or industrial sites.

4

Anyone deciding between grid, solar or a retrofit and wanting a neutral opinion.

From first call to a clear direction.

1
Day 0
Tell us the brief

Share the road, location, scope and any constraints — by form, email or a quick call.

2
Day 1
Site & data review

We review site data, road geometry and traffic — on-site survey where it's warranted.

3
Day 1-2
Road-class assessment

We classify the road to EN 13201 and set the lighting targets it has to meet.

4
Day 2
System recommendation

A shortlisted product family — grid, solar or retrofit — matched to the brief.

5
Day 2
Budget & roadmap

A realistic budget band and the next steps, with no obligation to proceed.

What you walk away with.

A consultation isn’t a sales call — it ends in a short written summary you can take to your team, your client or your finance department.

Before you ask

Still unsure? Send your project details and an engineer will answer directly — usually the same working day.

Q1
Does a consultation cost anything?

No. For any live or genuinely planned project, the consultation is free and carries no obligation to buy. We earn the work later, on the hardware.

Q2
Do you need to visit the site?

Not always. Many roads can be assessed from plans, satellite imagery and traffic data. For complex or high- value sites we'll arrange a survey, on-site or through your local team.

Q3
What do you need from us to start?

The road or site location, a rough idea of scope and quantity, and any deadline. The more you share — drawings, existing fixtures, budget — the sharper the advice.

Q4
Will you push your most expensive product?

No. The point of the consultation is to right-size the project. We routinely recommend lower-power or fewer fixtures when the road class allows it.
