Project Case Study

Airport Road Solar Street Lighting in Papua New Guinea

Solar street lighting for airport roads in Papua New Guinea, with separate-panel luminaires along terminal approaches serving passenger transfer vehicles.

Project Brief

This airport road solar street lighting proposal in Papua New Guinea specifies 842 sets of DEL-DS10-120 All-in-Two Solar Street Lights for terminal access and passenger transfers. Reference photographs show terminal buildings, palms, landscaped verges and passenger vehicles, with separate-panel solar luminaires lining both sides of the approach road. The planned configuration uses 9 m poles at 30 m intervals across a 10.5 m road width. Cool 6000K lighting is intended to support nighttime vehicle movement along approaches to the terminal.
