Project Background: A key downtown district in the UAE required a reliable and sustainable road lighting solution. Frequent electricity demand peaks and high operational costs of grid-powered lights prompted the municipality to adopt solar-powered alternatives for improved efficiency and sustainability.
Technical Hurdles: The project needed lights capable of meeting strict urban road lighting standards, with consistent brightness and uniformity. Additionally, the extreme desert heat and occasional sandstorms demanded products with robust durability and long battery autonomy.
