Project Background: A major highway in Guinea required reliable lighting to improve driver safety and reduce accidents during night travel. Extending grid electricity to this area would have been prohibitively expensive, making solar street lights the most practical solution.
Technical Hurdles: The project demanded strong, uniform lighting over long stretches of road, with durable systems capable of operating in Guinea’s hot, humid climate. Resistance to dust and seasonal heavy rains was essential for consistent performance.
Our Solution: DEL ILLUMINATION supplied 200 units of the DEL-DS6-120 all-in-two solar street lights. The separated solar panels allowed optimal positioning for maximum charging efficiency, while the robust luminaire design ensured stable light output and long service life.
